Family Prayer for Vocations
O Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph,
The model and ideal of every Christian Family,
To you we entrust our family.
Open the hearts of our family to the Word of God
and to a life of faith, prayer, simplicity,
generosity and service to others;
Let our family be the source of new and holy vocations.
Touch the hearts of parents,
so that they may lovingly guide their sons
and daughters toward spiritual and eternal values.
Touch the hearts of young people,
so that they may generously welcome the gift of a divine vocation
to the priesthood or religious life.
Holy Family of Nazareth,
grant that all of us might discern our vocation
in life and fulfill the will of God;
Let us grow in our appreciation for the great gift
of those among us who are called to follow more
closely the witness of the Lord Jesus,
Who made of Himself a complete and perfect gift for us.
Amen.
