| Prayer for the Pope
Lord Jesus, shelter our Holy Father the Pope under the protection of Thy Sacred Heart.
Be Thou his light, his strength, and his consolation. Amen. |

| Prayer for the Bishop
O God, Shepherd and Ruler of all the faithful: look with favor on Your servant whom You have placed in charge of Your Church here.
Help him, by Your love and Your grace, to teach us truly and to rule us wisely.
Give him courage when times are difficult. Grant that his people will listen to him.
May he always have the happiness of knowing that we are respectful and obedient to him, and thereby to Christ our Lord, whose representative we believe him to be.
May he inspire those whose shepherd he is, by his words and example, so that, together with the flock entrusted to his care, he may come to everlasting life. Through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen |
| | Prayer for Priests by Saint Thérèse de Lisieux
O Jesus, Eternal Priest, Keep your priest, Father (name the priest) within the shelter of Your Sacred Heart, where none may touch him.
Keep unstained his anointed hands, which daily touch Your Sacred Body. Keep unsullied his lips, daily purpled with your Precious Blood. Keep pure and unearthly his heart, sealed with the sublime mark of the priesthood. Let Your holy love surround him and shield him from the world's contagion. Bless his labors with abundant fruit and may the souls to whom he ministers be his joy and consolation here and in heaven his beautiful and everlasting crown. Amen. |
